Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Your Manual Expert respects copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property rights. This policy explains how a rights holder or authorized representative can report material available through the Store that they believe infringes their rights.
1. Scope
This policy applies to digital manuals, product listings, images, excerpts, descriptions, website pages, marketing content, download files, and brand references available through yourmanualexpert.shop.
2. Third-party brands and references
Manufacturer names, model names, trademarks, logos, and other brand references may appear solely to identify, describe, or indicate compatibility of vehicles, equipment, or documentation. Their appearance does not by itself mean that the relevant rights holder sponsors, authorizes, licenses, or endorses Your Manual Expert.
3. Reporting a copyright concern
If you own copyright, or are authorized to act for the owner, and believe material available through the Store infringes your rights, email support@yourmanualexpert.com and provide:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other protected material.
- The exact product or page URL where the disputed material appears.
- A clear explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized or infringing.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature where required by applicable law.
4. Trademark concerns
If you believe a listing uses a trademark in a way that may create confusion as to sponsorship, origin, affiliation, or endorsement, provide the relevant URL, the mark involved, and a clear description of the concern. We may adjust or remove wording, imagery, or content after review where appropriate.
5. Review process
We aim to acknowledge complete intellectual-property reports within 1 business day. We may request additional information, temporarily restrict access to disputed material while reviewing a claim, or remove material where appropriate. We may also retain records necessary to document the notice and our response.
6. Counter-notices and mistakes
If material has been restricted because of a report and you believe the action resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may contact us with the relevant details and supporting information. Where a specific legal notice-and-counter-notice procedure applies, we will handle the matter consistently with the applicable legal requirements.
7. Repeat infringement
Where appropriate and consistent with applicable law, repeated verified infringement may result in permanent removal of affected listings or content.
8. U.S. DMCA notices
For claims governed by United States law, a copyright owner or authorized representative may submit a notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). This section is provided to facilitate properly documented U.S. copyright complaints and does not represent that Your Manual Expert is a U.S. entity or that any particular statutory safe-harbor status applies.
